Danielle Pascoli

Founder and CEO

Danielle Pascoli holds a BS in Biochemical Engineering from University of São Paulo, and a MS and PhD in Bioresource Science and Engineering from University of Washington, Seattle. Over the years, Danielle built scientific expertise in biomass conversion to biofuels and biomaterials with a focus on process development and sustainability. In 2022, Danielle founded VERDE Nanomaterials as result of her doctoral research, for which she developed a cost-effective process to manufacture nanocellulose using agricultural wastes.


Danielle's mission is to make a positive impact on the world by enabling solutions for the industry's biggest problems. She is particularly passionate about creating value where there was none; hence her career has been focused on utilizing undervalued waste resources to produce useful bioproducts.
