We successfully demonstrated our technology at a 10L scale
July 2024
In collaboration with the Advanced Biofuels and Bioproducts Process Development Unit (ABPDU) at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, VERDE executed a scale-up trial using a 10L reactor. This key milestone confirms that our technology can achieve consistent results at both pilot and lab scales, showcasing its robustness and scalability.

VERDE is selected to receive $420k in funding from the US Department of Energy for R&D

The funding from the US DOE's Bioenergy Technologies Office will be used to further de-risk and scale our process for making nanocellulose from waste feedstocks. In this project, we will collaborate with top researchers from three national laboratories and leverage the resources of the Feedstock-Conversion Interface Consortium (FCIC).

VERDE receives grant from NSF to do a deep dive into customer discovery

Danielle Pascoli, alongside Prof. Renata Bura (University of Washington) and Dennis Hall (Faculty Emeritus, Ohio State University), was awarded a $50K grant from NSF to participate in an intensive, 7-week customer discovery program led by the New York I-Corps Hub.
